Attorney Biography

James J. Gillespie obtained his B.A. cum laude from Providence University in 1973 and his Juris Doctorate cum laude from the Loyola University in 1977. Mr. Gillespie was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 1977, the Massachusetts Bar in 1978, and the Pennsylvania Bar in 1981.

Mr. Gillespie is a member of the Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, Louisiana, Massachusetts, and American Bar Associations. Mr. Gillespie is also a member of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association.

In addition to workers’ compensation law, Mr. Gillespie practices bankruptcy, commercial litigation, personal injury, criminal, DUI, construction, family, and products liability law.
